RE: Alabama to Fishing Bridge???

Thanks for the info. I was thinking East may be best. We have reservations at Fishing Bridge for 9 days, then 3 days at Colter Bay, so we'll be leaving through the South entrance. We both work so we have a total of about 18 or 19 days for the entire trip. We'd love to have more time for sightseeing along the way, but that's not much of an option YET.......we want to spend most of our time in the Yellowstone/Teton area.

Alabama to Fishing Bridge???

What is the best entrance to get to Fishing Bridge Campground in Yellowstone, coming from Alabama???? Also, we're thinking 3 to 3 1/2 days driving time to get there. Is that about right??? Thanks in advance for your help.

RE: Treemont Hills Outdoor Resort/ Townsend TN

We've stayed at the new section. All of the sites on the river are well shaded. We liked the area. Some sites have more room than the A section sites, but some were about the same. Each site has it's on deck overlooking the water.

When is the best time to go to Yellowstone???

We're planning a trip to Yellowstone in 2008 to stay in Fishing Bridge RV Park and spend approx. 8 to 10 days there. We've tentatively planned for the last week of May/first of June for the trip. Is this a good time to go, or would late September or October be a better time??? Our schedule is flexible but we DO want to avoid the summer crowds. We want to be able to get out and see as much of Yellowstone as possible. Thanks in advance for any help. We've never been to this area before.
